Calcutta Litigants (1889) The Registrar of the High Court in Calcutta compiled, in April 1937, this list of cases heard before the court in 1889, giving notice that drafts of orders and decrees, affidavits of services of writs and of other processes, motion papers and chamber application papers were shortly to be destroyed. The list gives the number of the suit, the cause title (plaintiff versus defendant), and the names of the attorneys on both sides.
