(1838) The provincial banks of England and Wales made annual returns to the Stamp Office of their proprietors or shareholders. These returns, registered in March 1838, from the 103 banks then in existence, contain the full names and addresses of nearly 30,000 shareholders. Central Criminal Court Jury Lists
(1839-1840) Six juries were empanelled to hear the cases brought at the Central Criminal Court on the Queen's Commission of the Peace, Oyer and Terminer, and Gaol Delivery for the City of London, and Gaol Delivery for the county of Middlesex and those parts of the counties of Essex, Kent and Surrey within its jurisdiction.
